Fantesca is an estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon. This property was originally the dowry of Caroline Bale, when she married Charles Krug in 1860. A Cabernet from this vineyard made by Hannah Weinberger won one of the first awards for a wine from the Napa Valley in 1889. Today the vineyard stretches over terraces and hills and adjoins the cave and the winery.
Far Niente Winery
While many wineries make wine at several different quality levels, Far Niente produces one Chardonnay and one Cabernet Sauvignon of the highest quality possible from our estate vineyards; if the wine doesn’t meet expectations, it doesn’t make the final blend.
Farella Vineyard

Franciscan Oakville Estate
Franciscan is one of Napa Valley’s most venerable wineries, with a rich history reaching back more than three decades. Franciscan wines take their signature style—the rare combination of rich, vibrant flavors framed by supple tannins—from the ideal climate offered by Napa Valley’s cool, southern half and from the time-honored tradition of small-lot winemaking, blending from hundreds of barrels to craft fine wines that fully express the classic Bordeaux varieties.

Frias Family Vineyard
Frias Family Vineyards was founded with our first official vintage in 1991. We purchased 100 acres in 1977 and planted only 5 acres in 1985. My wife and grown children help carry out this labor of love by participating in nurturing the vines, blending, bottling and of course quality control!
