Sullivan Vineyards
They believe strongly in dry farming, thus creating a wine that is big, velvety and reflects the terroir of Rutherford. Jim and Sean Sullivan have both made the wines and are now working with Philippe Langner, a Bordeaux trained winemaker and viticulturist, who also believes that winemaking begins in the vineyard. Currently the Sullivan's produce limited amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay and their reserve blend "Coeur de Vigne" Heart of the Vineyard. |

The Terraces
Our ranch is known as Quarry Vineyards in deference to the 125 year old quarry on the property. Although we grow grapes for Etude, Stags' Leap Winery and Beringer who produces a Quarry Vineyards estate-bottled Cabernet Sauvignon, we reserve the seven acres of the oldest and best vines to produce The Terraces wines. The Terraces Zinfandel clone taces its roots to the vines planted on the ranch in the 1800s. |

Trefethen Family Vineyards
Constructed in 1886 by a Scottish sea captain, Hamden McIntyre, our winery was originally known as Eshcol. McIntyre designed it as a gravity-flow system: a horse-drawn winch brought grapes to the third floor of the three story structure for crushing; gravity carried the juice to the second floor for fermenting; and, eventually, the wine descended to the first floor for aging. |
Tres Sabores
Visitors to winery are personally welcomed by the owner, winemaker for a tour of the winery and vineyard, as well as a barrel tasting in the cave. Guests may make additional arrangements for a vineyard-side picnic gathering under the canopy of a century-old olive grove, olive oil or pomegranate tastings in season, as well as a personal introduction to the resident Goldens, sheep, goats, and guinea hens. |

Tudal Winery
