Rubicon Estate Francis Ford Coppola has been making wines on the Estate 27 years and in 1995 he purchased the remaining part of the original estate (Inglenook Chateau). This purchase reunited the original Napa Valley estate established in 1879. In 2006, the winery name changed from Niebaum-Coppola Estate Winery to Rubicon Estate, in honor of the flagship wine, to celebrate the restoration of the organically certified vineyards, completion of the extensive wine caves and the return of winemaking to the Chateau for the first time since 1966. |
Rudd Winery Rudd winery was established in 1996, when Leslie Rudd purchased the 54-acre estate in Oakville. Since the purchase, Mr. Rudd has made extensive renovations to the property, to include a complete replanting of the vineyards to close-spaced, red Bordeaux varietals and the expansion and renovation of the winery, including custom-designed tanks and a gentle, gravity-flow system. In addition, 22,000 square feet of caves have been dug below the winery to provide ideal aging conditions. |
